Hi Jessica, try thinking of your cold calls as getting to a yes. You must go through the rejection to get to the yes. Make the calls, forget the phone script, stand up, turn it all around. You are going to help them, they cannot help you get to where you want to be. Only you can do that. You told me all this in Hollywood at the Cinematographers Guild, it works. Love cold calls.

I coach everyone individually when coaching one on one like we did, and this was your market and what you needed and I'm so glad you remember and are making that advice work. That said, my first preference is what I said in the answer to this question because in most cases there are better alternatives to the cold call that apply to our industry.
