So thininking about getting back into location production work. What's it like since the internet is not just a toy? Payroll done electronically? People still shooting 35 mm? SAG and IA PH&W rates? Pcards taking the place of petty cash? (I hope not - impossible to control!) Have not done a real picture since about 2004, when we still broke film to make FEDEX to the lab. Love to get an idea of the deficits in experience I now have, and if it's any fun at all. Thanks.

I've heard rumblings by some to going back to 35 mm because moving video village eats into too much production time.

Thanks, Chad. I always thought video tap ate a lot of time setting up. - and some directors did not want/need it. I guess the more cables/electronics there are the more time it takes to move? Interesting.

Yes on other topics queried.
I would certainly make a post about this in the appropriate section of the Lounge, Linda. Think you'll get the response you're looking for. Great to have you here!
