Resurrection, Directed by Daniel Petrie, starring Ellen Burstyn and Sam Shephard

By any chance, is there anyone here who worked on the set of this 1980's film? I ask, because I was one of the children cast in it--Daisy. I wish I could find the assistant to the assistant producer who used to call me "One-Take Mokry."

Here's to you making that connection. Resurrection absolutely blew me away. I have it on DVD and I get major chills every time I watch it. Love this movie.

I was the little girl in the glasses standing next to Ellen Burstyn during the picnic scene--not the little girl with the nose bleed, but her "sister." I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed the move!

I'll look for you next time... which will likely be soon, now. Loved the movie.

Yay! I have so many fond memories. We spent a week in Shiner, Texas, and I was ten years old. I went through casting twice, met with Mr. Petrie and the casting director, went through wardrobe, and got to interact with so many amazing people, including Sam Shepard and Ellen Burstyn, who were really nice to me. It was such a wonderful learning experience to be on location to see the behind-the-scenes making of a movie at such a young age. I still receive royalty checks--about $40 a year!
