Introduce Yourself : Hello from Indiana! by Katrina Robertson

My name is Katrina, and I'm an actress and model from southern Indiana. I studied theatre, French, and Italian at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana (yay, Hoosiers!) I have recently worked on Empire, Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, Chicago Med, and the pilot for Runner, as well as multiple student projects for DePauw in Chicago and IU in Bloomington. I've recently joined a charity group that was founded by a very good friend of mine and talented model, Brittany Everitt. The group is called Vixens 4 Veterans and raises money to donate to various veteran charities all over the US, including those which help veterans with PTSD and homelessness. The sales from pinup-style calendars and posters funds the group, and all proceeds are donated. I recently posted our photos from the May 9th Vietnam Veterans Welcome Home Celebration in Bedford, Indiana, on Facebook and Instagram. We are currently in the process of starting a chapter of the Ohio-based group in Indiana and other states. When I'm not acting or modeling, I'm volunteering through Lawrence County Vietnam Veterans Group, American Legion Auxiliary, or the Lawrence County Democratic Women's Caucus, which recently elected me as the group's secretary. I also enjoy kayaking, hiking, playing video games, writing, and being a dorky-nerd because I love science and DC Comics.
