Introduce Yourself : Amy - Screenwriter by Amy Wiedmaier

Hello all! I am Amy Wiedmaier, and I'm a screenwriter and script consultant. I've been writing for a few years now and have had both a short film and web series pilot produced. I'm in talks with a studio to get a horror movie film made, and am writing another as we speak. I've won awards for 'Best Screenplay' and 'Best Short' in film school, and more recently the lead actress in my short film "Second Dates" was nominated for a Leo Award for the role. Primarily I write horror, sci-fi, fantasy, action, procedurals and thrillers, though I am known to throw in comedy and romance on occasion. As a transwoman, I'm also very familiar with LGBT+ issues.
