I realize I am one of many, many Happy (and maybe not so happy) Writers here on Stage 32. I've written 8 scripts and have optioned a short, but like many, many writers, I'm sure, I have yet to realize my dream of seeing one of my stories come to life on screen. I'm working on improving my interpersonal oral communication skills as that is proving to be a must in the industry (I'm a natural introvert LOL). I've joined a great group of people at Toastmasters and am preparing for my first speech. I'm hoping that my practice in Toastmasters will help to prepare me to pitch my works effectively before prospective agents, managers, and/or producers--that is my biggest pain point right now. Looking forward to connecting with many of you. :)
