Hi the documentary was interesting, and the old footage backstory in black and white captured a historical lost special atmosphere. I actually didn't know about these Roller Girl Tournaments before, what fit and gutsy women! and adrenalin fuelled recreation. MOTEL caught my eye, so I watched that aswell, this was my cup of tea. I loved the sinister neon, and thought the screen splitting technique boosted the voyeurs peak aspect of the film. The three motel doors that opened and closed at different times, with different stories behind each was an ace idea. It drew me in, and the man with the suitcase was particularly tense, and i was hoping the girl would not inject herself. The woman getting attacked made me want to call for help, it was cringeworthy she was trapped with the big guy.....sorry I'm rambling.
