I just registered my dark comedy/thriller THE SCREENWRITER last weekend. Who better to write a story about the struggles of an aspiring screenwriter than an aspiring screenwriter right? The tone of the story is similar to Nightcrawlers and Gone Girl. Logline A young man that has earned his master's in screenwriting is sent to prison for blackmailing and threatening to murder three screenwriting judges in order to gain a blind movie deal as the grand prize.
