Introduce Yourself : Co-Writer/producer Here Comes Rusty by William Ross Smith

Hello all, my name is Ross After aeveral long years, myself and others co-wrote and are" in progress" of our first feature narrative called Here Comes Rusty. I bet I learn, and am continuing to learn about 100% more each day. Even though I have read every book out there on making movies, there really is no substitute for the real thing. I guess I would say my biggest concerns at the moment are how to go about seeking distribution, I am certainly aware of the festival run, but many have encouraged me to seek out distribution and begin that process now. It is a mystery to me as to how to do this properly, as well as the timing of having articles and things written about our movie. I am Happy to share any of the knowledge that I have learned along the way. And if anyone knows the best way to handle this next phase, ex. Distribution, press kits, articles producer reps, I would gladly listen. It's nice to say hello to everyone, and I look forward to meeting and talking to and possibly working with some of you for a long time. Thank you, Ross
