One of the best cinematographers in Hollywood is Roger Deakins. This guy has done some of the best cinematography i have ever seen from No Country for Old Men, O Brother, Where Art Thou?, Prisoners, and many more. If you want to become a great cinematographer, i recommend studying this guy. From the aesthetic of perfect color correction placement, to the natural lighting used in scenes and shots in his films, the guy is a work of art.
Have you seen his recent film "SICARIO"? It is mind blowing on the techniques he uses to tell each characters story.

I didn't see it; however, i will definitely add it to my collection. The images i saw of the movie are amazing and the soundtrack was one of the best i heard since Interstellar. Josh Brolin in a press junket said that the tension on set was so high, he was irritated to work in-between scenes; however, he knew the movie would be fantastic with Roger Deakins and Denis Vileneuve at the helm.
