Fernando Salamanca

Howdy from Spain!

Hello there! My name is Fernando Salamanca, I'm a music composition student and a freelance music composer for any kind of audiovisual projects, being my main focus film, TV and videogames. Though I have started my degree in music composition recently, I've been studying music for about 7 years now. I have a Higher Diploma on guitar performance, courses with Berklee College of Music in the areas of guitar performance, songwriting, music production and music composition for film and TV, also prior to starting my degree here in Spain, I have studied a year and a half of composition in a private music school called Ars Nova in Venezuela. My experience goes from several student films, to composing the headline of a local venezuelan web based news show called Notiminuto, a jingle for a venezuelan oil company in Texas called CITGO, and currently I'm scoring a short documentary called "A Better Place" by canadian director Mark Hachem, and soon, will start scoring a web mini series for Texas based director Gavin Cody Wegener. I'm a very easy going and collaborative person, hard work should've been my second name, always stay motivated no matter what, and try to motivate otters whenever they are in need. I love to learn so I'm always in the quest for the ultimate knowledge (which I hope never ends), so I will be always trying to innovate and to bring new stuff to the table. Here's a link to my portfolio https://soundcloud.com/fer-salamanca Regards, Fer Salamanca.
