Hi, my name is Cheryl Bullock, I'm a 31 year old actress who has been trying to get ANY acting work in UK, but I have no agent!!!. I have tried everything but no one is setting me on to help me get more acting work. I have tried CAA in America but I'm afraid that they will turn around and say I have not got enough experience... how could I get experience when the agencies eg ..Total Talent, Starnow, Casting Collective etc. are not giving me chance... please help me anyone. thank you.
Trust me, CAA will not rep you until you have legit Acting credits, make lots of $$$$, or know a CAA high earning Client who hip pockets you inside.

cheryl nope. u have no acting reel, stage credits, or a body of work showcasing your acting skills. move to Los Angeles.

Thats just the reality of your situation and thousands of Actors looking for reps and work. Its not a personal attack on you. U have nothing to offer to a CAA agent or any Agent. Start building a reel, get cast in movies or make your own movie. Matt Damon and Ben Affleck were unknown Actors until they decided to write and make Good Will Hunting.
I see people from England on this site all the time talking about wanting to produce short films. People starting out are all in the same boat. I forget which famous writer was talking about how he and his friends kept each other busy with their projects and doing what Dan M. is talking about when they were starting out.
Thats interesting, I started out with StarNow, did 4 music videos and 2 short films. From that I was approached by an agent and was taken on. Only been with them a month so its early days. Now moving on to CCP to keep building my presence.
