Hi All! I'm Elizabeth and I recently moved to New York last Wednesday (6/15) after graduating from the university of Virginia. I've taken a leap of faith and moved sans employment, but I've been interested in the marketing/PR side of the entertainment industry. My time with Universal Pictures as the lone, pioneering, Campus Coordinator has certainly prepared me with a broad range of skills including (but not limited to) creating fliers, contacting/pitching to media contacts as well as event, social, and guerrilla based marketing. Hi Elizabeth, congrats on the move! You will be fine. When I first moved to LA (the first time a few years ago) I moved without employment even tho everyone told me not to. It worked out fine. Follow what you know you are supposed to be doing. I always tell myself spend less time worrying and more time creating solutions. Nice to meet you!
