Hi everyone, This is just a kind of re-introduction as I've not really been active over the past few months. I'm 21 and just finished University. It's always been a dream of mine to become an actor, but I'm kinda stuck, unsure of how to proceed and who I should contact to get started. I also enjoy working behind the scenes on movies, having completed a Film and TV Production course a few years ago,so wouldn't mind helping behind the scenes also! I'm looking to make some contacts and to hopefully progress and make my dream a reality. :)

Hi Ben! As far as acting the ball is in your court. The first thing you need to be thinking about is getting the craft down (not getting reps). Get yourself in acting technique classes and volunteer for every student short or indie short/film/web series (in front and behind the camera). You'll gain confidence, make connections and get better at what you do. For learning about jobs you're in the right place, here on Stage 32 you can learn about projects that need casts and you can ask other actors where they look for jobs. Also, don't be afraid to hop on craigslist, you can find some work (might not be paid) there as well. Good luck!
