Really happy about a recent Blcklst review of my script Denominations. Looking to attach a producer/director to the project to keep up the momentum. The review is only the 'Prospects' section, though on request I will send the Strengths/Weaknesses. LOGLINE: When Sebastian witnesses his father’s unethical sacrifices at the hands of an oppressive Colombian counterfeiter boss, he exacts insider revenge via the US bank facilitating the operation. PROSPECTS: Thanks to the real-life historical context for this story (i.e. the collapse of Enron and eventual worldwide financial meltdown), there's already a strong interest built into this setup. Its premise alone may certainly pique the interest of sophisticated producers and creative talent. There's some fantastic dramatic potential in this script - it's just a matter of how to unlock it. Giving us a very clear, tense impression of the stakes for Sebastian and spending less time on exposition and explanation will definitely go a long way in improving this script's prospects. It can be tough to make financial crime dramas feel cinematic, but El Bruto's reign of terror over Sebastian's community is ripe with dramatic promise. All the "bones" are there conceptually - the next step is to find ways to really make the stakes shine throughout the entirety of the film.
