My current impossible Project

Hi everybody, I'm starting this discussion cause I'm finishing the very first draft of a script based on the characters of the 80's TV series Dungeons and Dragons. I'm aware there is a new film coming, based on the role games of D&D so it may opens the door for new projects inspired on the D&D universe. I've thought in a whole trilogy. And I really think it can work very well. I know we are talking about big films in here and it's not the common thing. But I'm totally new in all of this and I don't know how yo keep going. Should I register the script in the American writers guild and wait that somebody shows interest in that? Or should I try to act like and insane desperated writer knocking all doors where I haven't been invited to? Well, if someone wants to give me an advice, I would be so thankful. You know? I've got the feeling this could be a combination of Lord of the rings and Harry Potter, so in a marketing way, should be atractive for the Hollywood industry. The point is, how to reach it when you are nobody but an unknown writer. Well, it's a long post, sorry. I just feel that it is the right time for this movie. All the TV series fans are in their thirties and it could satisfy a younger audience as well as older ones. Am I just out of my mind? You think it's that impossible? Thanks a lot.

Writing is not about owning rights but having your own right to write whatever it comes to your mind. Of course therre's a lot of new original things to write but sometimes one feels that is the right time for improving something already existed.A shorter way to answer this is, because I just want it. I want to make it real. That simple.
