Why might music make us cry? - Ewen Munro's Questions #172 | #SSSVEDA Day 27

https://youtu.be/WXi2Xqf91NA Why might music make us cry? I would have to say it's because of the melancholy, the nostalgia, the catharsis and relating to the pain, but also because of the joy, feeling uplifted and connecting with a composer, someone what we feel understands us. I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments. But I also think that, uh, an uplifting song could make us cry, tears of joy more than that and I think it's because we can connect and relate to-to those songs when we have those moments because maybe those moments are a little fleeting or they're-they're infr-infrequent and they just don't happen to us enough, and we enjoy that sort of catharsis and that melancholy from time to time. I just -- I think in art -- really, in art as well -- but, in music and in art that we don't just, uh, cry to melancholy, we also cry to things that uplift us...or maybe it's just me. I'm not sure. The question of the day: Uh, what's your favourite music? It's a very, very general question. If you have any questions you think I could help you out with feel free to ask me in the comments below. especially if the music relates then you tap into consciousness fast and feel emotions to be conscious is to feel with total equality to care and cry and feel another's pain use empathy to help others then you are conscious but there are those who don't feel their wrongs or something bad they did they don't feel consciousness as for them there is no consequences nor responsibility they can do great evil and have no remorse and sleep well they even enjoy hurting another and they don't believe in anything.

If you feel with your consciousness then you haven't lost your soul trust me brother never stop caring and let love be your armour.
