Introduce Yourself : Hello everyone by Amanda Grihm

Hi everyone, I am Amanda. I have written and self-published four books and wrote and produced a play that I used to raise money for a nonprofit organization I ran for 13 years. I am in this forum to network, find help, and get critiques on my screenwriting. I am writing one of my books into a movie. I actually pitched the idea to get experience pitching but I had not written a word at the time. I was asked to submit the script and had to tell the person I had not written it at the time. That was both a good and a bad experience. It felt great to have interest but it was humiliating not to have a product. For this forum, I posted the first 10 or so pages. I love writing! Writing is the easiest thing that I have ever done and will do. Now, after decades of doing everything but what I love to do, I am here to try my hand at this. I am in the process of completing a doctor of education degree which I plan to complete by May 2017. Writing in my downtime is the way I relax. I am not sure this is the best time to join this forum but I think it will be beneficial as I complete my screenplay, The Wolf.
