Synopsis: A short children's film in which the characters play movie stars who are just about to accept Academy Awards when aliens steal the awards. The movie stars change into superheroes fighting off the aliens and gaining their trophies. Logline: Multiple movie stars are about to accept their awards when aliens steal a box of trophies, resulting in the movie stars changing into the superheroes in which they truly are. Need help on my logline, what do you guys think of it?

The synopsis should be longer and more detailed. Most are two pages long. For the logline, I recommend including what turns them into superheros. I'm guessing that they play superheros. Here's my revision: Aliens steal the trophies from a movie award show. As they try to get them back, (Insert reason here) transforms a group of child stars into the superheros they play. A box of trophies sounds anti-climatic, but it is a children's film so the tone may work.

When a group of jealous aliens swoop in and steal the "Oscars", it's up to a handful of actors (superheroes in disguise) to save the day.
space aliens
Try this on for size: When a group of Hollywood stars have their awards stolen by visitors from the stars they become the superheros they play in order to end the close encounter.
