Screenwriting : Pitching to more than 1 Happy Writers person by Tom Leveen

Pitching to more than 1 Happy Writers person

Two questions: 1, is there a search function in the forums, because I couldn't find one.

2. I recently got a request from a Happy Writers pitch (yay!) and now the screenplay will be under consideration for 2 - 3 months. What is standard protocol for THAT screenplay and pitching another HW person in the meantime? Are we supposed to not pitch that script again to someone else until we hear a Yes or No from the person who requested it? I.e., if we get a request, is it automatically considered an "exclusive"?

Thank you! Sorry if this is answered elsewhere, I couldn't find it anywhere.

I would assume if nothing has been signed then you pitch as you see fit to do. If they liked it, they shoulda putta ring on it.

Hey Tom, I'd be a pitching foold. It's like waiting for that one girl to go out with you, I'd be asking out as many as i can to make sure I find the right girl that wants to date me. Wait for nobody! I would leverage the power to other companies by saying so and so is checking out this script as well. Get some people talking. Continue ot keep writing and pitching. Awesome!

Hi Tom. There is a search bar right at the top of the Lounge. ;) You could also send your pitch questions directly to Happy Writers... Ask the coordinators: WriterHelp@Stage32.com. ;)
