I am author of HELL'S GATES WIDER OPEN which Roger Lua at PARAMOUNT PICTURES almost made a movie out of. He said it would be an awesome movie but after spending a week and a half trying to decide between making a movie out of my book and one othe5r he said they only chose the other because his religion was different than mine (Christianity) but again said he loved my book and that it would make a great movie. Said that he really loved my airplane scene. I am still looking for a producer and even though it was in book form when Roger liked it, I have since converted it to a script. Mind you that I have never written a script in the past and I did my absolute best. It can be seen here https://www.scriptrevolution.com/scripts/hells-gates-wide-open I would love fora producer to contact me. I think it is one that Mel Gibson would love.
Hello Wayne. Welcome. Best of luck
Thank you. I am new to this script writing thing. Had it not been for Roger Lua at Paramount Pictures almost making a movie out of my book I do not imagine I ever would have even attempted this script writing biz. Glad that I am giving it a go though, at least this is between me and any producer interested in my script. Love that, because what I am paid by amazon and others is questionable

Hey Wayne. Sounds super interesting. I'll definitely give it a read over next few days. Can you tell us the synopsis? Would like to know going in to read... Thanks.

Hello Wayne! As Aashay says, what you are telling sound very interesting. If you would like to get on screenwriting, I recommend you:
1. Screenwriting program: CeltX. This program gives the script the standard industry format
2. Books: Robert McKee - Story (in spanish it is called 'El Guión') / Blake Snyder - Save the cat. In both of them, there are things you will agree on and things that you will totally disagree, so you don't really have to blindly follow step by step what they say. They give the reader a very good starting point
I hope it helps! Best wishes with it!
