Introduce Yourself : Works at Thomas Smith Productions • Assistant Director • Film Resource Marketing by Thomas "Tom" Smith

I've got 30+ years of working primarily as an Assistant Director with some location scout/manager work and other stuff earlier on. some years back. In that time I have earned 1 Directors Guild of America Award and 1 Communicator Award. More recently, I launched Film It USA as a film resource marketing site designed to give people the ability to list and manage their property and vehicles themselves, for rent to the industry. In February of last year it was necessary to take it offline, but I have reincarnated it, https://filmitcars.com and have broke off the vehicles in to a separate web site at http://filmitcars.com. The previous database was lost, so the databases for both web sites are extremely small as I begin the rebuilding process, but Rome was not built in a day (so they say). I am focusing on the area where I live, Santa Clarita, CA, to begin rebuilding, but I invite anyone interested to check out the sites, share your feedback, and I am open to participation ideas, as well. A big thank you to RB and all the folks at Stage 32 that make this site what it is.
