Hello. My name is Micah, and I am a 23-year-old writer/director/actor/composer specializing in the creation of unique, conceptually driven storyworlds, the likes of which no one has yet seen. I tend to write genre fiction, so if I post any projects here, expect fantasy & sci-fi to be my focus when writing.
In terms of composing, I listen to a lot of ancient and medieval music, and can imitate or expand upon any European song style prior to 1600 (from Euripides’ Orestes Stasimon to the anonymous English Greensleeves). However, due to my lack of professional music training, everything I’ve ever composed using my current method of borrowing melodic & harmonic ideas from mostly-anonymous dead voices of the distant past now exists exclusively in my head.
I also act, do college-level improvisational exercises, and study other worldbuilders whenever I’m not in the midst of a class.
Thanks for having me; I hope to share a project soon in another area of the site, and would love to meet any Portlanders or Oregonians in the film industry in person (as well as national & international filmmakers & theatre people & writers via messaging)!

Thanks, James Drago! I was cosplaying as the Tramp / Charlot for my 20s themed high school prom, and actually brought a real cane with me to the event... They let me keep it & use it, as it was my only consistent dance partner throughout the event.
