The script seems to be nodding to films like Goodfellas without focusing on one/two characters. All of events unfold around two main characters. One of them it's a cop, who is unlucky when he becomes a puppet by the semi-criminal businessman, who tries to hide the murder. However, after the businessman is having successfully arranged all, he's not going to dwell on this. Later, the former cop becomes governor of the state, after that they are deeperly bogged down to their own crimes. After many years, the second of the two main characters - it's a "Golden Boy", he falls into chaos by coincidence. He gets the problems of his parents, whos died in a car accident together with their huge money. Even without realizing that he's being under the blow of the bandit power, "Golden Boy" is increasingly immersed to the bottom of life. As long as he meets a girl in the mental hospital, who ready to help him...
The story, at its core, is a thriller, if you look for the plot, which unfolding around a cop, with crimes, murders and manipulation of public opinion. The story feels like a the neo-noir. But the drama from the point of view of a "Golden Boy", when everybody of whos try to help him find themselves under the blow of the bandit group in power.
