I'm a director and producer based in London UK. Have been on Stage 32 for some time but never done Introduce Yourself Weekend.
I've directed loads of TV drama here and am developing two US set features which I will produce and direct. One to shoot in Toronto. I've also started developing high-end TV series to pitch to the SVOD platforms and terrestrial broadcasters.
I haven't directed TV for a while because I was kinda disillusioned with the same old stuff being made and not very inspired, which is why I decided to try and develop my own stuff with writers I know.
Directing is my main thing, I only started producing as a means to get my films made, I find producing hard work, there's so many little bits involved, but am gradually getting to know a team of people way more experienced than me to help out.

Hi Geoff, It all sounds very intriguing.
Yes, I understand how sometimes the old stuff that becomes repetitive and not very interesting. I have had some ideas and have almost given up on some of them. It is just hard to find the right people to approach when you are new and trying to fit it.
I have been looking for a mentor type person to be able to talk to along with my process along the way if you have any suggestions it would be helpful.
