I hope this falls within guidelines. If not, just zap it with my apologies.
I’m creating a new class, dedicated solely to page 1 of a screenplay. I’m looking for some first pages to critique/analyze in my class. If you have any material that you’d like reviewed for free (page 1 only) please contact me, either by pm or through my website actbreakdown.com. A couple things to be aware of:
- This will be a video class, and the class will be sold online. I will send you a release to allow me to use your work (first page only) for educational purposes. My intent is to annotate your page, and note pros, cons, and ways to improve the content. I would suggest submitting work that you don’t mind being shared online, rather than a top secret project that you don’t want anyone to see.
- I can (but don’t have to) mention your name as the screenwriter. Let me know your preference in your email.
- I will mention the positives and negatives (as I see them) based on my criteria for a killer first page, and I will annotate your page as part of the online class.
- If I use your script in class, I will give you free access to the class (I.e. a free subscription) via its online platform, once I complete it.
