Learning Online

Hey everybody,

I was just wondering: Lately I watched Natalie Portmans MasterClass, than the one from Samuel L. Jackson, than Top Ten Rules for Success on YT by Leonardo Di Caprio, Will Smith and Co - now I am running out of material and I just wanna know if there is any other comparable place where to find this kinda quality information?

Any hint would be awesome

Thank you guys

Best,

Jonas

Find a University that has a faculty of mentors you can learn from. Their job is to create opportunities for students. I just wrapped my 2nd Masters. Life-changing.

Haha... non to toot our own horn, but we have a huge assortment of acting classes taught by people who are knee deep in the same stuff you're doing (as opposed to people who've made it at some point and probably don't know what's going on in the world right now). I love Sammy and Leo, but do you really think their day-to-day is comparable to 99% of people out there? https://www.stage32.com/education/tag/acting

No two journeys are alike. Once you find your Voice, form a Plan, and perseverance turns opportunity into more opportunities. I'll keep this lecture short. ::)

I made a decision a few years ago that Accredited was more valuable than unaccredited. My answer was aimed at how to find the next opportunity.

I, too am a yearly member of MasterClass. I've taken Samuel Jackson's class, Alan Sorkin & Spike Lee's class. They were great and I refer to them over and over again. I plan to take all the classes in the Film category. There also is a similar thing called I Acting that allows you to take classes from their roster of actors as well. Currently, I take an acting class in my city because I want to be better at my craft. The business things of my craft are the things that I am interested in learning. After all.....it is called "show business."

I like the MastersClass concept. I watched Ron Howard's and Aaron Sorkin. Having experienced both formal Masters courses covering the same topics as this virtual one, I prefer the one I earned a degree in.

I like both. Having gone to a univerity, I like the fact that you do get a degree upon completion and that goes a long way. The one thing that I wish MasterClass would do and that is to offer a certificate upon class completion. This could go on your resume as well as your degree. What a master teaches you is invaluable, especially those that are in the industry. Get em both if ya can!!!!

But the Instructors won't write students letters of rec. And, there's no comparison (for me) in the feedback from an A list professor in person. It doesn't merely feel good, the Authority has weight to it. I hope that clarifies my stance. I recommend this web site in Addition to a formal U.

There is no confusion nor disagreement on your stance. Grasp all the learning that you can be it scholastic on online hands on training.
