Screenwriting : Your fingers are tools! by Phillip E. Hardy, Prolifique

Your fingers are tools!

I got a bad infection in my right forefinger, which affected my typing. I went and got it X-rayed, probed and clean at emergency walk-in place today. They gave me antibiotics too. So script scribes, don't ignore your typing fingers. They're part of your toolkit. Typing better already without all the ooze that came out. Ick!

Quentil Pompey

That maybe a good concept. Our hero - a scribe for many years finally find representation and boom he's strick with some hand disease or infection...

Philip Sedgwick

Wow! Here's to healing your hands! And yes be careful using chisels, ice picks, power tools, irons etc. There's a reason talent often has body parts insured!!

Craig D Griffiths

I took the end of a few fingers off last month with an electric plane. The dictions function of my phone is a saviour.

Rutger Oosterhoff

I just contacted Stage32. There will be a no charge"typing with your toes" seminar next week....nehhhh, just kidding

Dan Guardino

Craig.Yikes! Sorry that happened to you.

Teresa Barber

Phillip E. Hardy, Prolifique I hope the healing process moves quickly for you because finger pecking a keyboard is no fun.

Craig D Griffiths

Dan Guardino own stupid fault. Held a piece of wood. It flew away. Planed my hand instead lol

Doug Nelson

I've got arthritis so that I can't use a pen anymore and I down to about two good typing fingers - that toe typing seminar sounds pretty good. Hey Phillip, I hope you got all the ooze off the keyboard.

Philip Sedgwick

EW, Doug! What an image. Ooze on the keyboard. Sometimes things are out of our control. Couple years ago a spider bit both my hands during the night. Swelled up like balloons. Nothing that good wine and keyboard exercise didn't mitigate in no time.

Imo Wimana Chadband

Dang, sorry to hear Phillip. Sure right man, got to take care of ourselves, we need these hands of ours. Wishing you a speedy recovery, and your hands are back to peak functionality. Same to you Craig! Be careful man. Got to be thankful still it didn't take off more.
