A not too tall, not too short women raises to her feet as she takes in the each and every group member, slowly making eye contact with each one before she finally speaks.

NOT TOO TALL NOT TOO SHORT WOMAN

Hi. I'm Adra. And I, am an Actress.

GOUP (in unison)

Hi Adra.

ADRA

That is all.

ADRA sits down, looks into her empty wallet, strokes her SAG-Aftra Membership Card between her index finger and thumb. Suddenly she burst back to standing, cutting off the women to her right mid sentence, hands jazzing out to her sides (as if she just hit the last beat of a musical dance routine and is holding for applause) - her voice bellows through the walls down the hall.

ADRA

Someday my role will come!

The Group Members sit stunned. Perplexed as to what just happened. Then they start to clap, one by one, slowly raising to their feet as the clapping and cheering grows louder. ADRA breaks free of her position (finally, what a drama queen). She grabs her jacket and purse from the chair and heads for the door, pausing just before she is about to leave, she turns around as if she forgot something, and....
