Falling Asleep - finding a home for my script!

An encouraging paragraph in reference to a pilot that i put a lot of time and effort into developing. It still needs a home, but comments like this help me push forward!

"Calling this pilot script unimaginative would be the understatement of the century. The vibrant realm

of Ruya it depicts is the very definition of an original idea. Its teaser and dream-like opening scene

vividly presents this realm to the audience, conveying both its stakes and the core conflict between

Kayroon and Sha with the upmost clarity. Carson as an aimless college student wrestling with

pertinent questions of identity is a fitting vehicle for a show of this nature. And as Ruya bleeds more

and more frequently into his life as he gets closer and closer to twenty-two, he is forced to face these

very questions as the stakes become very much real - the latter fact nicely demonstrated in his swollen

ankle and bloody shirt. It is worth mentioning that the reveal of his parents’ role in his larger destiny

is particularly satisfying here, setting the foundation for a larger emotional conflict in the show to

come."
