Anyone care to review a logline for my narrative filmmaking class? A young woman must receive forgiveness from her sister for causing the death of her brother-in-law or risk losing her sense of moral superiority.
Just my two cents “A young woman desperately needs forgiveness for causing the death of her sister’s husband or lose face and no longer be the alpha of the family” Sorry if I am off kilter with reply but I never watched Babylonian series.
@Dan Is right unless its a “Dramaturgy” where envy, suspicion and power play within a small family unit is all the story is, in which case it would work well as a dramatic play. Personal goals v inner needs, obstacles in the way of achievement, the way each character navigates their particular set of cards on journey, risks, stakes, setups, first failures and second tries, etc etc all add up to a meatier film idea.

Short or feature? Genre?
What's the genre?
Short, drama.
It’s actually intended to be a riff on The Cycle of Inanna from Babylonian mythology.

I can't "see" a movie from your logline, and I don't know how "losing her sense of moral superiority" translates with a camera.
