The Global Coronavirus Vaccine Race - Limited Series on HBO

Is it too much of a nail on the head? We're experiencing this story in the news right now, so do we need to capture more?

One might argue "yes" just because we're sometimes more likely to watch the narrative version than the documentary. What are your thoughts?

HBO is developing a limited series about the search for a vaccine for COVID-19 with Succession exec producer Adam McKay.

I suppose some people will watch it. I couldn't stomach it though, and it's not so much a nail on the head as a least creative idea.

Well if anybody could make covid19 entertaining, Adam McKay’s track record puts him first in line.

And it's more about the vaccine, and less about the lockdown, as far as I can tell.

I'd watch an HBO film about the development of a vaccine. AND THE BAND PLAYED ON was an excellent film. Oh, yeah, Adam McKay is involved.
