I've written several plays and had one produced. I'm joining to give myself some direction in turning the stories that two of my plays are based on into screenplays. All of my writing starts with the setting, the place where it happens so I think, visually, my stories can transfer nicely to the screen. I'm located in Albuquerque, NM but have lived in Chicago and love that city.

Welcome Andy! I'm actually a city away from you haha. I hope you find the resources you need here. Adapting different mediums into scripts seems like it'd be simple because on one hand you have the meat of it (tone, setting, theme) but on the other hand, not easy since you need to churn out 90 pages of something a director can use. I'm always very intrigued of adaptations. Best of luck!
