Acting : Zoom Read by Edward Skirtich

Hey, Edward Skirtich! Are you hosting this on a regular basis? Or are you willing to do table reads of scripts in development?

Hi Kay- Scripts I write and acting I do are constantly in revision and I work intensely on. I'm brand new to acting and writing scripts. Very tough to get crew. Every script is different. Every script could be just myself to one other person or a cast. I.E. "Supergirl Goes To College"- Just myself and a female, "Raiders of The Lost Ark" and "Becoming Superman" and other scripts vary in cast. Maybe that's an idea to consider in 2021. I guess plan out what I wat to do- what do I need for the cast? Why are the zoom reads important- helpful? Success stories- more about who I am- sound good- any suggestions- so far- not bad- I did "Top Gun" reads and a "Supergirl Goes To College" read. It went pretty good. Folks just want to read it once and nah- I can't rehearse no more- it's cool Eddie- when a lot more needs done. Very tough- I'm 52 and doing this brand new. I'm learning- it's quite brutal, devastating- very defeating- but I get back up the next day- keep typing and acting and figuring it out. I have acting lessons from LA actress Jillian O' Neil and zoom reads with her and other actors and actresses plus zoom reads with Food For Groundlings. A Shakespeare theater group. Any suggestions- ideas- it would be cool to have you on a zoom read. Thanks- Ed Skirtich

Hi Karen- Something to think about for 2021. Sometimes it may be one other cast member- sometimes it could be a larger cast. Thursdays are real good for me. In 2021 figure out what scripts I want to write and act-Thursdays are real good days for me to do zoom table reads. Any suggestions- people to ask? Thanks- Ed Skirtich .
