Introduce Yourself : Hi. I am Tim Bragg, also known as the sexy beast in the park. by Tim Bragg

Hi. I am Tim Bragg, also known as the sexy beast in the park.

I write short stories. Features and I write an educational book series called "Higher Education."

In my short time I have written four educational books and three fictional books. The book version of Soul Mate made Coverfly's Red List in 2019 and in 2020, my short, the dance won the Silver Nib Award and my feature "Boy Blue" was in consideration to being green lit in 2020.

If you want to understand me better. I created a Stage 32 account when there were no new episodes of the Kardashians on and I could not go fishing because I discovered a hole in my boat. My passion for writing comes from a desire to entertain others, although my cat gives me a look that says you have never entertained me.

Jose. these books are detailed with heavy reading but helpful for anyone who wants to understand the educational system.

Higher Education: Planning for College, is designed to teach parents, current students and future students about the educational system and how it works. This book addresses the difference between a Non-Profit and a For-Profit Institution, and how For-Profit Institutions have changed the rest of higher education. Holding colleges accountable when they engage in fraudulent activity, and Starting over when your college does shut down, along with other things that are informative for students to know before deciding on which college to attend. It is important for parents and students to understand the different types of federal student loans that are available. I also talk about understanding consolidation. understanding private loans, Scholarships and Grants, and what will happen if we do not bring down the National Student Loan Debt and the impact that it will have on the economy plus how the cost of college is ruining the economy. This book was designed to educate people in the United States and the United Kingdom.

The higher education series looks at why many graduates find it hard to transition from a blue collar job into a white collar position and how future graduates face an uncertain future when degrees are becoming less needed in the 21st century with more people skipping post-secondary education in favor of blue collar work. Higher Education: Understanding the National Student Loan Debt picks up in 1940 and how student aid lending changed from being fiscal conservative.

Prior to 1925 if you did not have money, you did not attend college, there were no Grants and during the 1940's, there were only two ways to pay for college either with Grants or the Servicemen Readjustment Act which was later changed to the G.I. Bill.

By the end of the 1950's Congress was moving the responsibility of student aid lending more to the federal government.

The Johnson Administration changed educational lending with his War on Poverty which included the Educational Opportunity Grants program in 1965 and by 1972 educational funding was in chaos with too much money being pulled from the federal treasury that to offset this debt private sectors had to be created.

By 2019 there were too many funding options to pay for college and too many people involved in student aid lending and too many students in debt which has caused the National Student Loan Debt to go above 1.5 trillion dollars.

The fourth book begins with student loan borrowers falling into student loan debt because they do not understand their Master Promissory Note. and if the NSLD is fixable and what would it take to bring student lending back into balance?

Chapter four looks at if the government were to pay off the National Student Loan Debt, the impact that it would have on the economy and future lending.

Bringing the NSLD back into balance means going back to traditional lending which consists of using more Scholarships and relying less on student aid money.

This book concludes with how the student loan debt crisis is ruining our economy and the impact if it is not addressed. The fifth book if I sit down and write it will focus on high schools and how they are not preparing students for college.
