Hi gang. Thought I might pop in and introduce you to my college buddy: Arturo Mireles is a veteran whose taken to producing films as a way to express his perspective on the world. In the 2000s, he’s participated as a sort of subject for a dozen war documentaries or more. Some of those works were even broadcasted on cable tv.. And now, as the owner of No Commercial value Productions, Mireles is out to shed some light on minority groups in San Antonio Texas, and beyond.

As a matter of fact, that is him. We met simply when I posted an unpaid job for a producer on my college’s canvas website. He basically introduced himself to me, and that’s exactly how we got together to create Thinking Autism.

It was an honor to use my scholarship to produce your vision for Thinking Autism (Cooper Knight, 2018). Producing your film while simultaneously learning production management was a challenge that I am very glad I accepted. Unfortunately, I was not in a dozen war documentaries, just the first 2 episodes of "The Fighting Season" (Ricky Schroeder, 2015) when they documented my last firefight with 3/B Wolverines.
