Hello my fellow creative wizards! I'm brand new to Stage 32 and excited to share my latest 3 scripts.
Any advice for a screenwriter new to Stage 32? This humble Jedi in training would love some insight from all you Stage 32 Yodas.
I hope you're working on something you're passionate about today - creativity makes the world go round (or my world at least). I'd love to hear what you're working on.
Best,
Kirby Taylor

Hey, Kirby Taylor! Great to meet you, and welcome to the community! I love your energy. Wow, congrats on your scripts, that's fantastic! Are you looking for feedback for your next round of revisions, or are you ready to start pitching them? Are you hoping to sell your scripts or do you want to be part of the team producing them?
I’m sure you’ve already discovered the Screenwriting Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/screenwriting), but definitely reach out on the Acting Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/acting) for insight into characters, dialogue, and even when you want to generate interest in a virtual table read!
Keep in mind that these lounges are like the VIP Filmmaker's Lounges at Film Festivals, so this is where you can meet the people doing the work, get advice on anything you're working on, and/or give back to those who may need advice. We're a very supportive and encouraging community! I think you'd also enjoy my intro blog post on how to engage with the Stage32 Community:

Enjoy exploring the lounges, and don't forget to comment and respond to others’ posts, too! It's the best way to really connect!

Sweet! Then it's time to build your pitch! Whether 2-page pitch document, 5-minute verbal, or 15-30 page pitch deck, definitely start with Stage 32's free Pitching Guidebook to help you structure your pitch: https://www.stage32.com/sites/stage32.com/themes/two/pdfs/happy-writers/... If you'd like something more specific or guided, definitely check out our webinars. We have more than a few on pitching: https://www.stage32.com/education?search=pitching
After that, just like revisions for your script, you'll want to get feedback on your pitch. You can get peer feedback here through the community, or you can get executive feedback by booking a pitch session (https://www.stage32.com/scriptservices/pitch-sessions) or receiving a Pitch Deck Review (https://www.stage32.com/scriptservices/coverage/buy?id=60). Both of those services give you a secondary benefit - you choose who sees the pitch, which means if they like it, they may request to read your script (which is the next best step on the way to selling your script).
Keep at it, and keep us posted on your progress!
