Hello Stage 32, I have taken on the endeavor of creating a zombie series on my own. I have looked up different avenues and ways to complete the zombie series & now I have taken the best possible route. I have decided to utilize software to create this web zombie series on my own. The overall story is about a camping trip for a few college students turning lethal with the beginning of a zombie apocalypse Invasion. Right now, I am looking for funding solely for myself to fund the new laptop and program with a goal to start filming and release by June 23rd 2022. I need all the hell funding to fund voice actors I already have in mind since I will be doing everything alone, it will be an expansive venture of close to 2,000 dollars needed immediately. Congratulations on moving forward with your series, Jonathan Christian, that's super exciting! When you say alone, you mean all the technical things by yourself, correct? As it sounds like you're still working with actors.
I ask this because film is inherently a group effort, so while in lots of other industries it is admirable to do something by yourself, in film it often looks not good. That's not to say that you can't do it, and plenty of people have been able to do one-man shorts using nothing but a camera, a green screen, and figurines. But sometimes people - audience members, fans, allies, and/or investors - have to see that others believe in what you're doing before they are ready to jump on board.
Especially when money is involved, whether it is a $15 movie ticket or a $2k investment, ROI isn't the only thing they are thinking about. They want to know if it was "worth the calories". Seeing the behind-the-scenes of how you made your series, and seeing the camaraderie of you and your crew can be a huge boost to what entices people to invest.
