Hi, my name is Gen Vardo, I live by the coast near Newcastle, England. Over the last year I've completed three screenplays, two more on the way.
Each screenplay works as a stand alone feature, each with two strong concepts. I decided to base them in the same fictitious town, some of the characters re-appearing. For instance Jennifer, who is the hero in the first, comes to the aid of the protagonist in the second. And then helping the new protagonist in the beginning of the third.
I truly believe that people will get a real buzz out of seeing the characters re-appear, they are pretty cool, and we know the reasons we love, and get so attached to, series so much. Also, although each story is told to a conclusion, extra information on the characters, the areas, and the stories come out throughout each screenplay. Again I believe the audience would love this aspect.
I've uploaded the three I've completed, to be read in the order shown on each title page. I hope someone out there will be interested in the first enough to read the second and so forth.
Thanks for listening, I hope to make your acquaintance soon.

Good to meet you, Gen Vardo, and welcome to the community! Congratulations on your screenplays, that's fantastic! Is there a particular genre you are drawn to?
I see that you're hoping to direct as well? You may have already discovered the Screenwriting Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/screenwriting), but definitely check out the Acting Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/acting) for insight into characters, dialogue, and even when you want to generate interest in a virtual table read! Table reads are a fantastic opportunity to flex those directing skills, even virtually. Of course, you may dig the conversations in the Filmmaking Lounge as well: https://www.stage32.com/lounge/directing
Keep in mind that these lounges are like the VIP Filmmaker's Lounges at Film Festivals, so this is where you can meet the people doing the work, get advice on anything you're working on, and/or give back to those who may need advice. We're a very supportive and encouraging community! I think you'd also enjoy my blog post on how to get the most out of the Stage32 Community:

Enjoy exploring the lounges, and don't forget to comment and respond to others’ posts, too! It's the best way to really connect! And, of course, feel free to reach out at any time. Cheers!

Thank you Kay.
I seem to be naturally drawn to Crime Thrillers with a mystery element.
I have started to read your blogs, I'm getting alot from them so thank you, they are a comfort as well as a great source of inside information.
At the moment I'm concentrating on writing, have been for over a year, and I know everyone says this about their own work, but I know mine work well as really entertaining movies. I've seen them in my head so many times and I love them, just hope someone somewhere gives me a chance and reads all three I've uploaded here. They really come together as a feature series.
Thanks again, appreciate you :)
