Filmhub - distribution - 2022 - producers go?

This.

The feels.

I quote: Alan d’Escragnolle, the CEO of Filmhub - “We started Filmhub to put ownership and monetization opportunities directly in the hands of filmmakers,” he said. “In today’s world, distribution is not limited by physical shelf space and award-winning films are coming from everywhere, not just the old studio system. There’s an insatiable appetite for diverse content and with the support of our investors, we’re building the system to make film distribution work within the new reality.”

2022 has started off with a bit of a bitty bang? I like what I'm reading and I'm also liking the numbers.

I see the studio grip and block on distribution opening up - meaning, it makes more financial sense to put more projects into the pipeline to develop and produce.

Thoughts?

What Filmhub does with this is, however, the issue. They are notorious for keeping licensors and producers from talking to each other, and they use an algorithm on their marketplace searches which is calculated to maximize their profits while dropping new filmmakers to the bottom of the search queue.
