Okay guys, maybe I'm turning into a cranky old lady, but I'm just sooooo done with looooong movies. (Says the woman who is writing her longest screenplay). I mean, life doesn't move fast anyone, you blink and a year has past. It's like lightning. Who really has time to sit through all the 3 hour movies? Especially the ones that follow a character who has been done to DEATH? (Sorry Mr. Pattinson-The Lighthouse was brilliant haha)

I would agree sometimes, but when this nerd gets to visit Middle Earth in a darkened theater, 3 hours is never enough lol!

To me Robert Pattison kind of didn't fit the role of batman and to cover up Lifestyle brand marketing required for the character they sort of stretched with so many fillers/oomph factor scenes but it fell flat. Even though Pattison is an amazing actor and giving his best, but felt not for him role! I loved his acting in "Good Time"

Yeah, I just... no haha I'm tired of slow Batman. Whatever happened to fun comic book movies? IDK.
Have you seen the Batman movie with Adam West?

From the 'Crusty Old White Dude' contingent, I couldn't agree more... I picture some cigar chomping suits in a room kvetching, "Can't we make it longer... ? Black Panther was long, and it did good!"

I'm looking forward to watching it when it's available to stream. Intermission will be at my discretion.
Hahah Intermission may include naps

It is interesting to think that the original Ghost In The Shell, considered one of the most cerebral movies of all time, manages to deliver this in just 82 minutes! Including a 3 minute visual section in the middle that doesn't have anything to do with the plot! This is an example of how a movie can be complex without being overly long.
YES! Ghost in The Shell drives it all the way!
