Hi, I'm Claude Stuart - Comedian, Writer, Actor, Producer, and Partner in 3 Degrees Entertainment. We have a number of incredibly exciting projects in development - including an independent film, STANDBY, starring Sean Astin (who is also an Executive Producer of it) and KILLER BOOK CLUB, a thriller starring Vivica A. Fox, Monica Potter, Jay Mohr, and Jamie Kennedy.
I'm currently writing for the TV show "Funny You Should Ask" (Howie Mandel, Tiffany Haddish, Whitney Cummings, Jon Lovitz), as well as my own original pilots and features. I've met some very interesting, creative and talented people here on Stage 32; and I look forward to meeting more!
Take care and keep doing your thing, my friends!
Sincerely,
Claude Stuart

Hi Claude, Thanks for sharing all your projects in development!! They all sound amazing and an inspiration for our Stage 32 creatives on landing those big names as collaborators. Do you have a piece of advice (or two!) you can give to someone who is ready to take that leap and bringing on star talent for the first time?

Hey Shellie! I would say to think of all your contacts and see if there's any "6 degrees of separation" to a name you'd like to attach to a project. Even if it's a fellow student in your acting class who did an episode of a show or a scene from a film with the celebrity (as opposed to your sibling's best friend is the celebrity), see how you can possibly get your script to that person. With some of the names we attached - 2 I wrote jokes for on a show, 1 frequented a gym that my friend owns, 1 is very close with a school buddy, 1 starred in a movie that my casting director friend did - we just tried to do whatever we could within our contacts. You'd be surprised how many people actually know your "dream roles" for your projects! I'd also suggest trying to get the project to the actor as opposed to their representation; often the rep won't get it to them immediately and the first two questions are "What's the offer?" and "When are the shoot dates?" That's completely understandable; however, it can certainly delay things if you don't have your budget yet. :)
Great advice, Claude Stuart. You've worked with/are working with some big names!
