Time to introduce myself again :) I'm niki and I'm the Development Services Coordinator at Stage 32. I'm here to help YOU whenever you have questions or need any assistance relating to Script Services. Since it's almost Thanksgiving here in the U.S, I wanted to share why I'm thankful for this IYW. I'm not great at networking. I'm usually really crappy at small talk. But here I can overthink and take 30 minutes to introduce myself and comment and talk with other people without extra pressure. A total win for me. So I encourage you folks like me, you lurkers, to make a post! I'd like to meet you :)
Also - as I'm now demonstrating, you can edit your post if you need to. Lol. Tidbit about me, one of my favorite shows on TV right now is Welcome To Flatch.

I'm glad you're able to comment and talk without any extra pressure, Niki H. :) I'm thankful for family, friends, being able to write, great friends on Stage 32, making new friends on Stage 32, and well, Stage 32. :D I'm not sure if I've heard of "Welcome To Flatch." What genre is it?

I honestly don't know if I've met anyone else that watched it. It's a mockumentary comedy, about small-town life. It's a FOX show, I watch it on HULU. Good cast, totally spot on midwest, small town vibes. So funny!

Hi Niki, I'd be honored to have you in my network. I have a budding production company in Southern Indiana and while I fancy myself a talented story teller, I do have some shortcomings when it comes to proper formatting of my screenplays. I'm interested in contracting out to help finalize a script but I'm concerned about "giving away" ownership of the story and screenplay itself. I've heard there is a difference between "and" and "&" on a script and it's confusing and a little off putting to me as the original author.
A little about me, I'm grateful for my wife and four boys. My favorite movie is Ernest Scared Stupid

Brian Snow, you can hire someone to help finalize your script, but you can do it as a ghostwriting job so they don't get credit or ownership of your story.

Brian Snow Final Draft auto formats as you go along. The software has built-in tools for things like character, scene heading, action, dialogue, etc.
At $200.00 (USD) It can be a bit on the pricey side but, there are more affordable alternatives like Celtx.
