What stories are you working on?

Marcos Fizzotti

Hello. Mostly horror, my favorite genre.

Craig D Griffiths

A western. Been doing it for a while.

Plus I am going to finish a horror I started with a bit of a franchise bent. That should be a simple sale.

Robert Russo

A sci fi action story with the main character being the "immortal soldier" archetype, and inspired by Vietnam Veteran's experiences. It touches on the effects of prolonged combat on the mind and how even the greatest soldiers can't go through combat without taking psychological wounds along the way.

Alicia Vaughan

Right now, two horrors and one action.

Jim Boston

Josiah, I've just started a comedy screenplay...and it's a modern-day version of "Animal House."

Pamela White

I just finished the rough draft of the second part of my script.

Maurice Vaughan

Wow, your script sounds exciting, Robert Russo! That's a great/important theme to explore.

Anthony John Orlando

I have a social horror that deals with mental illness and the stigma towards it in modern society. It's basically "A Nightmare on Elm Street: meets "The Babadook"

Hakim Kisakye

am working on SAVVIED.

A furious top secret government security agency assassin survives ultimate death, loses his memory to baby life at hands of his bosses.

It's first draft already done starting the rewrite today.

Maurice Vaughan

For everyone who has a Horror script, there's an Open Writing Assignment in the Writers' Room (https://www.stage32.com/writers-room). A producer is looking for original Horror feature scripts until November 22 (tomorrow).

Robert Russo

Maurice Vaughan, the stories of real Vietnam Vets are really wild. One guy for example on his first day is dropped off in a forward position in the jungle. He is 18 and just out of training. He doesnt know anyone. The first night the entire area is overrun by human wave attacks. Enemy with suicide vests storm into fighting positions and detonate themselves. Theyre firing their machine gun until the barrel turns white hot and sags (melting). Its a terrible battle, tons of people killed and wounded. He is pulled out of the jungle a year later and sent home when his term is up to try and put a life together after 365 days of hell. This is why so many Vietnam Vets had severe PTSD. To this day they still call the Veterans crisis line about flashbacks (some). Its crazy the things we have sent our young men into and then hardly given them any support on their return. Luckily its gotten better since then, but its still got a long way to go. They're beginning to seriously look at psychedelic treatments for PTSD which are as close to a miracle cure as you can find.

Van Eden

Just finished a short story and am looking for someone to read it and give me some feedback.

Josiah Bhola Hillaire

Marcos Fizzotti that’s awesome. I love Horror

Josiah Bhola Hillaire

Craig D Griffiths I watch Westerns and I love it. I can’t wait to read your script sometime if you want

Josiah Bhola Hillaire

That’s amazing Alicia Vaughan Jim Boston Robert Russo and everyone here. I hope I can read your scripts and collaborate with you guys. Maybe we can learn from each other

Maurice Vaughan

Wow, Robert Russo. It's terrible what Vietnam Vets went through. Your script's gonna bring much needed attention to what soldiers go through during war and after war.

Bill Albert

Decided to transcribe a novel that's been sitting around for a long time. I do all my first drafts by hand so I've been reading it into the system for a few weeks. It's a new challenge,

Erik Meyers

Reworking my horror/thriller script, writing short stories incl. preparing a short story anthology for publication.
