Read a Good Book Lately? : Treason by Nicky Brockwell

When I was at university I had to look for stories and I headed towards a church as there are filled with stories. I had good communications with the vicar and he gave me what they called a magazine which was a really old thick book of historical stories- one of the stories was Treason- by an unknown author. the story was about how the religion changed from protestant to catholic in the times of Bloody Mary where she had announced that anyone who tried to turn a catholic into a protestant would burn on the steak- which brings a protestant vicar praying over a catholic vicar on his deathbed, but a member of the church distorts the truth and the Queen's Guards are set to find and prison the Protestant vicar. The book has some really truthful historical text but there is no author, no name to the story. I had rewritten the story for the church.
