Introduce Yourself : A fun guy from Florida by Sean Kenniff

Sean Kenniff

A fun guy from Florida

Hey all, my name is Sean Kenniff. I'm a fun-loving, dad, husband, former CBS news journalist, and former reality TV star. I'm new to Stage32. In 2000, I appeared on the first season of Survivor (Borneo), and lost to naked Richard by 3 days. I'm also the inventor of The Jerk at Work doll. I'm a doctor in my normal life and a pretty good one. But I like to keep my extra-vocational life interesting. I've written several books, including a very well-received novel (Etre the Cow), after I lived with cows for 40 days. I enjoy doing challenging but interesting things. I wrote the screenplay for "Fockers Without Borders" during the pandemic. It's the funniest movie that will never be made, and the much needed FOURTH movie in the Meet the Parents/Fockers trilogy. LOL. It just bothered me that TriBeCa, Stiller and DeNiro never made it. It seems like a natural plot line and a cinematic slam dunk. Those involved all have the screenplay, but they probably think I'm an absolute madman. Whatever, I did it because it needed to be done and nobody else would do it. Some ideas just need to be done. My latest creative endeavor is pitching a sitcom based on TED talks. It's been in my head for years, and I have a killer pilot episode and series bible. I just need to birth it. Imagine if George Constanza, the loveable loser from Seinfeld, tried to improve his life by watching daily TED talks. That's the gist. On my wish list: Kenan Thompson as the star.  He'd be perfect. No offense to Kenan of course.

Just trying to keep the ride interesting folks. Thanks for reading.

Welcome to the community, Sean Kenniff. Sorry you lost to naked Richard. Speaking of "Meet the Parents/Fockers," I was just thinking the other day it could be a TV series.

Would make a great sitcom series. But everyone is getting old. I think my “FWB” would work excellently with lookalikes. Maybe same for TV series? I dunno. The TriBeCa peeps would still show to sign off on the IP. But I’ve been knocking on their doors for more than 1 year. Fun idea but one that will likely die a lonely death. Totally with the TV series, also likely DOA unless it comes directly from TriBeCa peeps. It was so much fun to write, had an absolute blast and it really works.

Sean ! I certainly do remember you on Survivor! Everything had to break just right for Hatch to win, including his alliance with Rudy! (back when alliances were a thing) I have my own pilot out for consideration to several Stage 32 Show runners and hoping for the best. Wonder what ever happened to the tall blonde who I think finished second.

What about a "Meet the Parents/Fockers" sitcom with the grandkids and the extended family, Sean Kenniff?

And you never know. You might meet the right person to get "Fockers Without Borders" made.
