Introduce Yourself : Screenwriter by Robert Bridge

Robert Bridge

Screenwriter

Hi everyone, I’m a screenwriter from the UK. I write mainly romantic comedies, comedies, and the occasional romantic drama. I’ve been writing for 11 years in my spare time and have finished over 40 scripts, learning my craft. I write two specs a year and have placed well in numerous competitions. Would one day love to get representation or a manager to help put my career in a different gear and get a professional perspective on where to go next. Cheers, everyone. Look forward to meeting people who can help me become a better writer.

That's awesome Robert Bridge! Nice to meet you.

I'm a screenwriter too. I hope you find representation or a manager soon. I've been looking for that as well. It can be rough searching and getting rejections but still very exciting, cause all you need is one yes. :)

Congrats on finishing those scripts, and placing well in numerous competitions, and I like that you write romantic comedies/comedies.

What are some of the competitions you've placed in? I started sending out some of my work out to those this year.

Stefano Pavone

Welcome to the club. :)

You're welcome, Robert.

Hi Robert, Forty scripts is impressive! I also write rom-coms. Are you open to reading and giving feedback to one of mine and I'll do the same for you?
