Lol Im old enough to remember pitchfest events; there was a hotel in Hollywood hosting pitchfest and hundreds/maybe thousand wannabes paid to pitch to "pro's". Was these events a scam? Hard to say in 1995 when access to "pros" was still a mystery. We had no internet then. Information was just newspaper articles and it did feel like in 1995 a nobody writer could sell a spec script for 6-figures
Because film industry owes you nothing for your "best un-filmed" idea...but you owe... knowledge, experience, freaking sweat an blood, all until you even go onto that red carped, it'll mean nothing for the sacrifice you gave...
