Hi all. Stage 32 is an idea that was bound to happen. What a great gathering of creative talents that work to help each other.
I am a (non-working) screenwriter who writes as a hobby. I enjoy having something that started as an idea in my head turn into a script I can read. I write poetry, screenplays, editorial page material and have started working on a book.
I work in local television but would love to one day be paid to write. I love Stage 32 but wonder how do aspiring non-working writers afford the prices for classes here on virtually no writing credentials or residuals? I find the prices to be expensive.

Nice to meet you, Curtis Mauriel Smith. There are free resources on Stage 32. The Lounges (www.stage32.com/lounge), the Blog (www.stage32.com/blog), and some of the webinars (www.stage32.com/webinars).
And Stage 32 has a Job Section (www.stage32.com/find-jobs). It's updated regularly.
I suggest adding a profile picture. It'll help you build relationships/network on here and if you have a picture, your profile will show up when someone searches for you.
