Hi all,
long terms Stage 32 member in the acting space.
I ditched a long term career to study acting after starting as an extra in 2008, aged 41. Mad? well, brave maybe. Did a year long on screen acting course and got a better agent.
Just completed my 55th short film and also have several features to my name, numerous voice overs too.
No other way to say it, I love the craft and in 2020 won best actor at the China web awards for a web series. that was for comedy.
Nominated for Best Actor at the upcoming Vienna International Film Awards for a drama, Torn. Check it out on YouTube.
I like working with all levels of the industry from students to professional productions annd basically, anyone who will listen to me gushing about my love for acting.
Great to meet you and please take a moment to check out my website www.seanoconnor.biz and of course my IMDb https://www.imdb.com/name/nm3374567/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk
Wish everyone a successful future and you get you put in!

Hi Emily J
Thanks and have had a quieter time recently, but about to shoot a short film I wrote myself called ‘Second Chance’ and I’m also acting in this project.
My voice was featured in an independent short film called ‘Interception’ where I played an Alien. This has just released and will begin its festival run shortly.
Torn, for which I was nominated Best Actor at the Vienna International Film Awards recently, is a project from the last few years that I am very proud of. it is available to watch on YouTube. Search Torn by Chris Lambert Films.
Here’s my 2022 showreel https://youtu.be/Ra4Fl7vFfO0?si=6TvxGHz90wZYZ_kL
Still looking for that bigger break, as a lot of us are!
Kind regards
Sean

Hi, Sean: It's great to hear an actor able to brag about all the successes that he's had in the world of acting:! I envy anyone who has made a career in that field. Here in Seattle the scene dried up about 10 years ago, and there is little left now but voiceover work: There's nothing wrong with those gigs: in fact, they give more people an opportunity to show their talents to the world, However, I know that I'm a fine on-camera talent, and may need to leave Seattle in order to find me way into the world of on-screen acting. If you like, you can text me at 2068603534.Congrats on your success!

Hi Thomas Murphy
interesting to hear and here in New Zealand, there’s a limited number of roles in a smaller acting pool, but that pool keeps growing with students coming out of drama schools all the time. We do get the occasional US production here, but there’s been a couple ‘axed’ in recent years.
I audition on average probably once a month, which doesn’t sound like much but that’s the way it is.
I really enjoy voice work and can do it from home as I have a modest studio set up in a spare room.
nice to make your acquaintance on here.
kind regards
Sean
